Understanding the History of the Brethren
Brethren History cohort specially designed for enrolled participants from the Southeast Region.
This course considers the historical development of the Brethren movement from the origins in Anabaptism and Pietism to the present day. Special attention is given to the Brethren Church since the 1880s.
If you have enrolled in this class for the purpose of furthering your ordination process with the Brethren Church, please note that you are required to attend 4 of the 5 online cohort meetings. Detailed information regarding the cohort gatherings will be sent to all enrolled participants prior to the first cohort meeting.
